Beaufort Kennel Club (BKC) was founded in Beaufort, South Carolina in 1971 by area dog fanciers. BKC became an American Kennel Club (AKC) licensed club in 1991. The objectives of the club are to further the enhancement and interest in purebred dogs, encourage good sportsmanship, and conduct canine events in accordance with AKC guidelines.
Our kennel club host AKC-recognized Conformation Shows, Obedience Trials, Rally Trials and Agility Trials. In addition, Beaufort Kennel Club offers dog obedience classes.
